
VEX U – 2020 Purdue University’s Javid Habibi VEXU Memorial Qualifier
Traveling to Purdue University to compete, our VEX U team PYRO won the Design Award, qualifying them for the 2020 VEX U World Championship.
VEX U – Embry-Riddle Fall 2019 Tournament
On November 2, 2019, our VEX U team PYRO competed at the ERAU Fall Tournament, and won Tournament Champions, Robot Skills Champion, and the Design Award.


VEX U – World Championship 2019
Traveling to Louisville KY to compete at the 2019 VEX World Championship collegiate division, our VEX U team PYRO competed against over 80 other teams. PYRO took home the Build Award for the team’s well-crafted robots. After placing in the top 10, the team narrowly lost in the playoffs to the eventual collegiate world champions.
VEX U – Southwest Qualifier 2019
Our VEX U team PYRO competed at the Southwest Qualifier on March 2, 2019, and won Tournament Champions as well as Robot Skills Champion. The team advanced to the 2019 VEX Robotics World Championship as the back to back Arizona State Champions.


VEX U – CSUN Qualifier 2019
Traveling to California to compete on February 23, 2019, our VEX U team PYRO won the Judges Award for their unique robot design and software.
VEX U – World Championship 2018
Because of their achievements earlier in the 2017-18 season, VEX U Team PYRO traveled and competed at the VEX World Championship collegiate division against over 80 other teams. The team placed in the top 10 and took home the Amaze Award for having a well rounded and top performing robot.
VEX U – Southwest Qualifier 2018
Our VEX U team PYRO competed at the Southwest Qualifer on March 3, 2018, and won Tournament Champion as well as Design Award. The team advanced to compete at the VEX U World Championship in Louisville KY.
VEX U – Southwest Competition 2017
Competing at Embry Riddle for the Southwest VEX U Competition on November 4, 2017, our VEX U team PYRO took home three awards. Tournament champion, Excellence, and Skills champion.

Team “Smoke ‘n’ Mirrors” comprised of club members took “Best in Show” at Hackster.io’s hardware weekend hackathon. The team added flaming tire tracks to a DeLorean inspired by the Back to the Future movies.
